World Record Read
Read, read, read, promote, blog, don’t sleep, gain some fame, earn Libraryman’s admiration. The Henderson District Public Libraries are currently doing an ultra cool library promotion that may get them in the Guiness Book of World Records.
Henderson District Public Libraries Guiness Record Attempt web site is here.
The HDPL Guiness attempt blog is here.
The flickr page documenting the experience is here.
Saw the first blurb about this at via librarian.net. Thanks!

Hey there LibraryMan! Thanks so much for the mention on your site! Come visit us if you ever come to Henderson. You can see the Room Where It All Happened! : )

A blog AND a flickr set. Wowzers!
I’m just blown away that:
I loves me some Internets!
1. A world record holding librarian would read this blog.
2. A world record holding librarian would leave a comment thanking me.
Thanks, Joan, and nice work. I admire what you did on several levels.
