By Sunday morning, my hearing had recovered. 

The fun part of Sheraton's elevators is that the "cheap seats" side (for those of us on floors below 21) sometimes wouldn't open the doors on Floor 2. You had to ride up to Floor 3 and take two sets of escalators... There is something unnerving about an elevator stopping on the floor you requested, which is also clearly the limit of its travels, then clicking a couple of times and going in the reverse direction.</description>
