My library now has a web site in wordpress (a content management/blog tool), a blog and are using MeeboMe for virtual reference. I learned about all of these things by reading my RSS feeds. I did not learn about them in the professional literature. I did not learn about them at a conference. I did not learn about them from librarians in my area. RSS may not be shiny and new, but people who are not getting library news via an RSS feed are missing out.
