Big Day For The Libraries and Librarians Group: 10,000+ Images, 1,500+ Members
What an amazing day for the Libraries and Librarians Group on flickr! Today we passed both the 1,500 member mark and also now have more than 10,000 images in the pool. It’s all authentic and It’s all you, libraries, librarians and library lovers! Link:

Congratulations Michael! This group is a great idea, and one my own library is participating in. It has, I think, gotten Flickr on to more library staff members’ radar. Congratulations on a job well done.
You guys are nice to say this, but it really is the members that make it work. It’s a testament to libraries and how people view libraries that the group is so active, self sustaining and growing. It’s just an honor to be a part of that action!
